"My father introduced me to Zehr's on our numerous nursery rounds. He is the true St.Francis and taught us to genuflect in front of the roses and to never touch the leaves of a plant with dirty hands.
 
Even though I have since grown and moved to Erie County, I continue to place Zehr's at the top of quality, genuine and "latest" horticulture. 

Mark and his Dad handing out apples from the orchards while we shop, and as I salivate over which hostas.  I don't have and how many can I afford, is something you can experience at Zehr's.

Colorful containers, pottery and wrought iron from England and a growers' horticultural knowledge make Zehr's unique. The setting on the edge of the lake is quite spectacular too!
 
The drive may be a bit long, but the trip and the destination is worth it in ways you might not imagine a nursery to be."

"As President of the Kenmore Garden Club, we are always looking for good speakers for our programs.  Mark and his daughter Emily did a presentation on "What's new for 2011."  It was a well informed and delightful presentation.  Everyone enjoyed having them.  I would highly recommend them to other groups.  We also visited them at Zehrs two years ago on our annual bus trip.  Everyone came back with special plants and memories.

"We love Zehr's!  Each year I buy my mother a gift certificate for her birthday and Mother's Day, and I also pick out a garden gift.  The staff knows my mother, and her gardens, and they are always so helpful in picking out the gift.  I almost feel guilty because there is nothing for me to do!  The displays and selections are gorgeous, and the owners are always on site.  We wouldn't shop anywhere else!
